Choosing Your Batting
80/20 cotton-poly – Bleached white batting is for quilt tops with white transparent fabric. Standard 80/20 is a natural colour that can yellow your white fabrics.
Arctic bamboo – A blend of cotton and natural bamboo fiber 50/50 providing a soft drape.
Loft — batting from least to most loft:
- Arctic Bamboo — least loft (similar to 100% cotton)
- Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 — mid-range loft
- Hobbs PolyDown — most loft
